Texas Instruments is building a multi-fab campus in Sherman, Texas. TI reported that production at its first fab, SM1, began in late 2025, with more fabs on the site planned.
In June 2025 TI announced a plan to invest more than $60 billion across its US fabs, including Sherman.
Sherman is the first Texas fab town in this guide that is not in the Austin area. It sits in Grayson County near the Oklahoma border.

Not yet confirmed: exact SM1 production date and hiring numbers.
