What this is
Semiconductor Cities is an independent guide for people thinking about moving to, or working in, a US town where semiconductor fabs are running or being built. It covers jobs, housing, schools, taxes, commute and the first 30 days, town by town, in English, Spanish and Simplified Chinese.
Who runs it
The site is a project of J&H Digital Services LLC, a small US company that builds and runs independent information websites. It is not affiliated with Micron, TSMC, Samsung, Intel, GlobalFoundries or Texas Instruments, and no chip company pays for anything on it.
How to check our work
Every fact comes from a public source and carries a date. Every guide ends with its sources, and all of them are collected on the Sources page. How we work explains what we use, what we leave out and what we do when sources disagree. How this site is paid for explains money.
