Where to live near the Phoenix fabs

TSMC is in north Phoenix and Intel is in Chandler, about 40 miles apart. Pick the fab first.

For TSMC (north Phoenix)
  • Norterra and Union Park. A local agent puts the commute at 10 to 18 minutes.
  • Deer Valley and Happy Valley. 12 to 20 minutes, described as more affordable.
  • Peoria, Westwing and Vistancia. Further west and north.
  • Anthem. The most affordable family option in that guide, at 25 to 35 minutes.
For Intel (Chandler)

Good to know
  • Summers regularly exceed 110°F from about June through September.
  • One agent guide says Arizona has a flat 2.5% income tax. Confirm with the Arizona Department of Revenue.
