- 2025 was Phoenix’s second-hottest year on record, averaging 78.1 degrees. There were 122 days at 100 or higher, against about 111 a year since 1990.
- June 2025 had nine days at 110 or above and July had twelve, as of early August. Sky Harbor hit 115 on August 22.
- The 30-year average is about 21 days a year at 110 or higher. 2024 set a record, counted as 70 days by KJZZ and KTAR and 61 by Newsweek.
