Renting
- One source lists a Manassas rent of $1,835 with no date. We found no better series.
Property tax
- Prince William County’s 2026 page lists a base real estate rate of $0.865 per $100, plus a $0.070 fire and rescue levy and a $0.002 mosquito and forest pest levy. The FY2026 rate was $0.906.
- The City of Manassas is separate from the county and sets its own rate. We did not find it, so the 0.87% to 0.94% band applies to county addresses only. A third-party site’s $0.966 conflicts with the county page.
On a home at the middle of the range ($547K), the effective rates above work out to about $4,759 to $5,142 a year. That is our arithmetic, not a published bill, so check a specific parcel with the assessor.
