- Johnstown. The Intel site is about a mile from its borders. It became a city after the 2020 census passed 5,000 residents and is expected to grow a lot. Some longtime residents feared losing the small-town feel, though a later report said they had begun to embrace the change.

New Albany residents commute to downtown Columbus, Easton, Gahanna, Westerville and healthcare and corporate offices across the metro. Remote and hybrid work is common.
We found nothing substantive on Pataskala or Plain City, and no commute times from official sources.
