Common questions

Short answers with links.

Samsung Austin is already running. Samsung Austin Semiconductor has operated in Austin since 1996, with more than $18 billion invested by Samsung’s own account. Sources disagree on headcount: one figure says 3,342 employees and another 2,243, so we do not state one. The Taylor fab is the new build.
