Kuna, near Boise, is where Meta's second AI-optimized data center is now running.

Status

  • Meta says the campus began serving traffic in early September 2026, at a total investment of $1.2 billion (first announced at $800 million).
  • About 1,400 workers were on site in January 2026. Epoch AI reported two smaller buildings starting to the north in July 2026.
  • About 100 permanent jobs are expected. Meta is also funding a $70 million city water and sewer system.
